"Splendid show of Indonesian culture", "Fantastic", "Amazing dancing and singing" and other impressive adjectives were uttered by dignitaries as well as guests attending the Malam Puspa Warni (The Night of Colorful Flowers), held in Jakarta on March 11, 2020.
Chaired by Madam Yanti Airlangga Hartarto (IG: @yanti.airlangga), there are three organizations that serve as host of the event namely Yayasan Batik Indonesia (Indonesian Batik Foundation), Perempuan Untuk Negeri (Women for Country) and Dewan Kerajinan Nasional (National Craft Council).
Faithful to the dress code inscribed in the invitation, Indonesian Ministers, female leaders, politicians, tycoons, government officials, and artists attended by dressing up in traditional costumes of Indonesia. From Acehnese traditional costume to Dayaknese Kalimantan costume.
Showing up at this lovely event, spouses of Foreign Ambassadors to Indonesia who put on a touch of Indonesian Batik or Tenun on their dresses, either shawls or scarves.
As the moon shines brighter, Rossa, Titi DJ and Reza Artamevia, three of best known Indonesian Divas, sang their hit songs followed with a surprise finale Happy Birthday song.
SURPRISEEE!!! That's when all guests found out that Madam Yanti Airlangga, our gracious host of the event, was celebrating her birthday on the very day of the Indonesian cultural spectacle.
Overall, the Malam Puspa Negeri was a très excellent Indonesian cultural show that present Indonesian culture, fashion and culinary in an exquisite style.

"A leading showcase of Indonesian cultural diplomacy" demikian ungkapan para istri dari berbagai Duta Besar asing yang berdecak kagum menyaksikan pagelaran budaya malam itu.
