Glamorous Gigi Hadid and JET: “Call me, Gigi!”

5.6 million people –perhaps more by the time this article is released- follow her in Instagram; Balmain, Maybelline and Guess are only three multinational companies among those famous others which signed her as the Face of their companies; Bella –another it model- and Anwar Hadid –already started his modeling campaign too- call her their big sister; Mohamed Hadid –famous artist and tycoon- and Yolanda David Foster –star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills- call her the apple of their eyes, oh and have I mentioned that hunky boyfriend of hers, Joe Jonas, boy oh boy the talented Gigi Hadid may just turned twenty years old but this Hollywood babe has so much going on already!

Started modeling for Guess campaign “Guess Kids” when she was only two years old; the lovely Miss Hadid is not a stranger to the fashion industry. These past few years, the world’s leading runway and fashion magazines have been graced with Gigi’s glamorous images, from the Guess campaign to Balmain and Maybelline billboards all showcase Gigi’s picture perfect smile. Either wrapped up in denim jacket and matching pants, a vintage t-shirt and legging, or in a skin-tight Balmain dress, Ms Hadid is a vision of confidence and elegance.

During Gigi Hadid’s (GH) recent trip to Australia, JET has been luckily invited to meet the glamorous fashion icon. Following are the excerpts of our friendly conversation:

JET:   Hello Ms Hadid.

GH:    Call me Gigi, darling! What’s your name?

JET:   My friends call me JET. Gigiii, I just adore your relaxed and luxe style!

GH:    Oh thank you! I am in love with your ethnic look. Where did you get your cute pants?

JET:   Gigi, I am an Indonesian and this pair of Batik pants is made by Lulu Lutfi Labibi. Batik is one of Indonesian most famous traditional textiles. Lulu is an Indonesian emerging designer whose creations now have been featured in my home country’s top fashion magazines.

GH:   Awesome! I love Indonesia! I heard also about Batik! So, does Lulu have a shop in Australia or US?

JET:   Not yet. But I sure will let him know that you are interested in his creations!

GH:    Oh yes, tell Lulu that his creations are super cool! I hope I can find his outfits in LA or New York soon.

JET:   Thank you dear. I am sure it will make Lulu’s day to know that the one and only Gigi Hadid praises his works. Have a nice stay in Sydney. I hope to see you again someday maybe back here, US or Indonesia?

GH:     Great JET. Oh yes please, I would love to visit Bali. Stay looking fab, will you?!
