(Queen Rania of Jordan)
Prior to the Moslem Holy Month of Ramadhan, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (Spouses of Civil Servants Organization in Indonesia) in the Foreign Ministry in cooperation with Kartini magazine, hosted an event titled Easy Way to become Successful Entrepreneur in Spare Time (#WomenMoveUp). Truthful to its title, the event aimed to introduce several members of the organization who have succeed in becoming entrepreneurs.
In her welcoming remarks, Madam Yasmin Fachir (spouse of Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs) emphasizes that aside from being wives and mothers, women also have other roles in society. The event, therefore, could serve as a forum where spouses of civil servants motivate as well as inspire one another to become entrepreneurs.
H.E. Mr Mayerfas, Secretary General of Foreign Ministry, who officially opened the event underlines that women play central role in developing the nation's character through their children. In addition, women also contribute in elevating Indonesia's economy. Female entrepreneurs will enhance their family's income.
Led by Madam Virna Mayerfas (Chair of Dharma Wanita Persatuan in Foreign Ministry), the Dharma Wanita has hosted a number of events focusing on current issues faced by the spouses of civil servant and women at large. After the opening, the attendees of the event were enthusiast in listening a number of excellent discussions featuring impressive array of experts. These experts were invited to share their ways in order to be at the top of their enterprises, while at the same time still cater as good homemakers to their spouses and offspring.
Later in the afternoon, the attendees of the event got pampered with some make up demo by Indonesia's top make-up artist and stylist from Lakme cosmetic.
