Pssst: The Great Aussie Sale Begins, Featuring Romance Was Born and Dion Lee

Dear fashionista,

Let’s admit it, as a shopper, nothing gives us a more ecstatic satisfaction than finding a favourite item on sale, and I mean major sale. Am I right or am I right, lovely ladies and dapper gentlemen??? ;)

Now, as major department stores and designers in Indonesia and Singapore threw their annual great sale as well the most famous European and American fashion houses began their summer sale, Australian designers and major retail stores also began their annual stock-take sale recently.

The stock-take sale in Australia is the biggest annual sale in the country as it does not only mark the end of financial year in the country but also the major cutting of prices, generally up to 60-70% off, of all merchandises.

While it is nice to head to your favourite Myer or David Jones store in town, I found it more exciting to head to your favourite designers’ private sale.

Lately JET has been invited to a few private sale of fab Australian designers. I, however, would like to focus on two designers, namely Romance Was Born and Dion Lee.

There is one common thing that these designers share. Their sale take place in their office. Perhaps our friends in other countries will find this uncommon as generally a sale event would be conducted in the stores, and not in their office or warehouse.

Well, I tend to believe that the bottom line of each sale is to find that rare and treasured fashion item that you have been dreaming of. Thus, regardless of the place, the item should be given the highest consideration here.

Oh and let me tell you, these sale by Romance Was Born and Dion Lee were abundant with so many unique and must-have pieces, from current season’s knitwears to last season’s limited edition summer t’shirts. Just name it and you’ll have it!

Now, let me take you on a private tour of this extra private sale of two Australian most well known designers.

Happy shopping, fashionista!
